Eight departments provide outstanding programs, including the School of Business featuring the Accounting, Economics, and Finance Department. The College of Business also houses the Healthcare Administration and Information Systems Department, the Military Science (ROTC) Department, Management and Marketing Department, Communication Department, Safety Management Department, Sport Management Department, and the Hospitality, Event Management, and Tourism Department. Facilities and curriculum of the College of Business are on continual update status to provide the best possible student experience.
Student Life
Slippery Rock currently features over 160 registered student organizations allowing students to explore a wide variety of engaging opportunities centered on advocacy, sports, governance, media, religion, marketing culture, service, arts, and more. Organizations serve to enhance a student’s education and offer a safe forum for leadership development, civic engagement, and critical reflection. These programs can help working adults complete their undergraduate degrees, pursue a graduate or doctoral program, or earn a certificate. Built on its foundation of 125+ years of offering quality educational courses in nationally accredited academic programs, SRU provides affordable online options in many degree areas. The popular Master of Science in Data Analytics features blended coursework and is 33 credits of high-powered graduate education.
