The Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University was one of the first business schools to receive the AACSB accreditation back in 1953. Rooted in Jesuit, Catholic traditions, Leavey intertwines the values of ethics, virtue, service, integrity, accountability, and purpose throughout their uncompromising business degree programs. They take a conscientious leadership approach of “to lead others well, we must first learn to lead ourselves.” The SoB is committed to instilling the perspective of innovation, entrepreneurship, and social responsibility into every student as they pursue their pathway to success.

Education

Lucas Hall, a $49 million facility, is home to the Leavey SoB and is filled with video conferencing classrooms, offices, project rooms, seminar space, a business service center, and a café. Students who are pursuing a Bachelors degree can major in Accounting, Economics, Marketing, Accounting & Information Systems, Finance, Management, Management Information Systems, or Individual Studies, where a student pieces together a personalized major. There is a 4+1 Program where students can acquire a bachelors and masters degree in just five years. Those who wish to obtain a Masters degree can pursue the convenient Evening Master of Business Administration degree or the weekend classes of the Executive MBA. Other Masters degrees include a Masters in Business Analytics, Finance & Analytics, or Information Systems, and they all consist of a qualified STEM curriculum. To be able to learn what you can only learn being immersed in a different culture, the SoB provides an incredible international learning experience for undergraduates through study abroad trips to places like London, Spain, New Zealand, South Korea, Austria, and France. In 2020, MBA students can participate in an international trip to Greece, Croatia, or Peru.
