The College is named after William G. Rohrer, who was a businessman, community leader, government official, philanthropist, and family man. He established the Rohrer Chevrolet Agency with his father and operated the dealership for 50 years. He established the First People’s Bank of New Jersey and served as its president and chief executive for 26 years. Rohrer “also established and was president of Wm. G. Rohrer Inc., a real estate holding company and served as president or partner in several other real estate development companies.”

For undergrad students, Rohrer College of Business offers Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Finance, H.R. Management, Management, Management Information Systems, Marketing and in Supply Chain and Logistics. RCB also gives students the opportunity to earn undergraduate certificates in Business Analytics, Global Business, Management and Leadership, Forensics and Fraud Investigations, Training and Development, and Management Information Systems.

The graduate program at RCB can be tailored to meet each student’s specific needs with online, face-to-face or hybrid options, and either a full-time or part-time class load. The Master of Business Administration offers five different concentrations, including Accounting, Finance, Management, Management Information Systems, and Supply Chain and Logistical Systems. A Master of Science Finance Program is also offered, along with graduate certificates in Accounting, Business, Finance, and Management Information Systems. A new program coming to RCB in the fall of 2020 is the Master of Science in Organizational Leadership program. It will be the first of it’s kind in the region. The program is best suited for working professionals with the desire to hold leadership positions within not-for-profit organizations, corporations, government agencies, and education. The degree is completely flexible, offering classes in person on various campuses, online or in hybrid form.

Student Life

Rohrer C.o.B. is home to four Centers of Excellence- Rohrer Center for Experiential Learning, Rowan Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Rohrer Center for Professional Development and Rohrer Center for Responsible Leadership. These centers strive to prepare students for a successful career and give them real-world experiences.

RCB offers students a wide array of student organizations to join according to their professional interests. These clubs help them make connections with other students and business professionals in the community. Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization, Financial Management Association, and Management Information Systems Club are just a few of the student organizations on campus. RCB also houses two National Honor Societies on campus, Beta Alpha Psi and Beta Gamma Sigma. Being asked to become a member of these honor societies is a high honor and recognizes students who excel academically in business programs.

Online Programs

The MBA and M.S. in Finance programs are both offered 100 percent online. They use an accelerated curriculum to help students finish their degrees at a faster pace if that is their goal. The new M.S. in Organizational Leadership will also be offered with online classes in eight-week courses.
