The Rider University College of Business Administration holds accreditation by the AACSB for both their business program, as well as, Accounting. This exceptional accreditation is only held by 2% of programs worldwide. The College of Business is dedicated to marry practice and theory in order to help students turn their ideas into reality. They desire to give students all the tools and experiences necessary to be effective in the business world, as well as be responsible and ethical leaders.

Education

The CBA offers undergrad degrees with 16 different majors. Business Administration, Business Analytics, Global Supply Chain Management, International Business, and Sport Management are a sampling of the degrees offered. An SAP Student Recognition Award Certificate program is also available. SAP is considered a global leader in enterprise application software; the number of jobs requiring SAP certification increases every year. Students can be even more prepared for their future career by obtaining this certification.

The College of Business Administration at Rider also offers undergraduates an advanced business degree by earning a B.S. in Business Administration in three years. Or by earning a B.S. in Business Administration plus MBA or MAcc in either four or five years. Taking advantage of these accelerated programs saves students both time and money when preparing for their career.

Students who wish to complete a Master’s program have quite a few options to choose from: Master’s of Business Administration, Master’s of Accountancy, Executive MBA, Master’s of Science in Corporate Finance, and a Master’s of Science in Information Systems. A Business Analytics Certificate and Forensic Accounting Certificate are also offered.

Student Life

Rider’s College of Business Administration has a special experience for incoming freshmen with their Living and Learning Community. Students develop and execute a business plan with their team using startup funds. In addition to the plethora of student organizations that CBA students can join, they house three fraternities; Beta Alpha Psi, Delta Sigma Pi and Sigma Iota Epsilon. Honor Societies such as Beta Gamma Sigma, Omicron Delta Epsilon, and Omicron Delta Kappa are also present for students who show the academic achievements to gain membership.

Internships and co-ops are an important part of the business program at Rider. Many graduates go to work for the companies that they worked for during their internship or co-op. These for-credit experiences are built-in to the curriculum as a major elective or free electives. Recent employers include government entities, local non-for-profits, and Fortune 500 companies. AT&T, Disney, Johnson & Johnson, and Merrill Lynch.

Online Programs

The online MBA program at Rider offers students three different focuses-Business Analytics, Finance, or Global Business. Students may choose from six different start dates to graduate in as few as two years. The distance MAcc program also offers three different focuses-Business Analytics, Finance, and Forensic Accounting. There are six different start dates for this Master’s program as well.
