Student Life
One of the main goals for a university is to provide students with both academic and social growth opportunities. The First-Year Experience Program offers both on-campus and online students, the resources, tools, and encouragement needed to complete their first year. To enhance the overall educational experience, business students can participate in student organizations, including the Accounting Society, Business Society, EPIC, Honors Club, International Students Club, National Society of Leadership & Success, and the Investment Club. Also, the Eagles Nest is a place where students can sit back, relax, hang with peers, participate in events, play games, and enjoy their time. Business students can take advantage of the University’s Center for Academic Success, which helps to guide students through their academic pathway with advisement, tutoring, writing assistance, and more. There is also the Center for Career and Professional Development that assists students in the steps of career preparation. These steps include helping with writing resumes, networking, interpersonal communication, searching for internships and jobs, interview preparation, collaboration skills, and creativity through workshops, counseling, and group sessions.
