The Park University College of Management is one of the largest nonprofit management colleges in the United States. They carry esteemed ACBSP accreditation and offer a variety of programs, both on-campus and online, through 41 convenient campus centers nationwide. The College includes two well-respected schools, the Hauptmann School of Public Affairs and the School of Business. The School of Business’ mission is to “provide quality, innovative, application-based learning to prepare a diversity of learners who can support free enterprise in a socially responsible manner in a global community.” With a focus on creating leaders who are able to exercise authority responsibly, act with moral courage, make ethical decisions, and advance human dignity worldwide. The Hauptmann School of Public Affairs offers student-centered professional programs with a strong background in liberal arts and science. They work diligently to develop ethically grounded professionals for management and nonprofit organizations through public service values education.

Education

Park University’s College of Management offers degrees for students at all levels. Associates degrees in Management, Logistics, Construction Management, and Accounting are available for those just starting their educational journey. Working students wishing to complete a bachelors degree have many options in high demand areas such as Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Economics, and more. Graduate certificates and degrees can be earned in Disaster and Emergency Management, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, as well as many other subject areas.

Student Life

The Park University campus sits on 700 acres of beautiful landscape with historic buildings. Their main campus in Parkville, Missouri, is just a short drive from Kansas City, giving business students the ability to be submerged in their college experience but close to a major city as well. This location also provides the College of Management easy access to top scholars and business people. Many of these notable individuals participate in the Hauptmann Distinguished Guest Lecture Series, where they discuss the hot topics of international politics, public administration, and democracy.

The University welcomed its first international student in 1880. Today, more than 35% of Park students come from outside of the United States. This diverse student body is especially advantageous to business students who seek to broaden their cultural awareness and experiences. The Resident Life and Education organization offers programs throughout the year that give students intercultural experiences, extracurricular opportunities, social experiences, and holistic wellness opportunities such as goal setting.

Online Programs

There are three associates, 10 bachelors, and six masters degrees that can be completed entirely online through the College of Management at Park University. Graduate certificates can also be achieved through this platform in Disaster and Emergency Management, Global Business, Finance, Global Governance, Health Services Management and Leadership Services, Human Resource Management, Leadership of International Healthcare Organizations, Project Management, or Quality and Innovation Management. All programs offered in the online format are of the same high quality of the on-campus degrees and certificates.
