Student Life

There are 24 scholarships offered to business students through Haile/US Bank COB and the generosity of endowments. The Haile/US Bank COB does an excellent job serving the needs of the military. Students can gain exposure to the business world through internships, study abroad, mentoring, and student organizations. Business students interested in working in the professional sporting industry can complete a 14-week Procamps summer experience. This experience allows students to work in operations, camper sales, sponsorship, or graphic design for sports camps hosted by professional teams.

Study abroad locations include the Netherlands and Prague. The first 30 students to apply for study abroad trips receive a $500 scholarship to apply towards the cost of the trip. Through the mentorship program, students meet with their mentor for events such as professional society meetings, local conferences or seminars, and job shadowing.

There are seven business student organizations for students to develop their leadership skills and meet with like-minded students. The College of Business Student Ambassadors program is a prestigious program in which students are invited to represent the COB at recruitment and professional events, as well as lead tours of the COB. Students in the COB are well-rounded with the knowledge gained in the lecture hall, plus their real-life experiences beyond the classroom.
