Education
The School of Business at Northcentral University offers a variety of conveniently formatted degree programs. The Bachelor’s of Business Administration is the only undergraduate option available through the SoB. The BBA is typically completed in 30 months but can also be combined with a master’s degree through the NCU FastForward program. This track aligns curriculum for the undergraduate and graduate business programs to create a smooth transition from bachelor’s to master’s, save time and tuition costs, and help students prepare for top employment positions quickly. Master’s degrees are available in Human Resource Management, Legal Studies, Public Administration, Accounting, or Organizational Leadership. An accelerated MBA is an option for driven students who are willing to commit 30 to 35 hours per week to study in order to complete their online degree in just one year. Doctoral candidates have six no-residency-required plans to choose from. These include relevant degrees such as the Doctor of Criminal Justice, Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership, and Doctor of Public Administration.
Student Life
The vision of Northcentral University is to be “…a premier online graduate university and a global leader in providing unprecedented access to U.S. regionally accredited higher education.” Because of this, the University strives to help busy students meet their educational goals in a way that is convenient for them. The Academic Success Center is a resource available to help students gain the skills to communicate effectively while using the American Psychological Association (APA) editorial style. The ACS also provides support materials and writing assistance for anyone in need of additional academic guidance. Academic Coaches can also assist with learning content, and any other skills needed for program success.
For doctoral students, the CU Dissertation Boot Camp is a great way to prepare for their studies. The boot camp consists of two and a half days of support for research study alignment and feasibility, critical thinking training, development of doctoral acumen, research methods modeling, and many other tools necessary to complete a dissertation.
