NAU has been a pioneer for online learning for over 20 years. The University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and specializes in making distance education options affordable and convenient. There are programs for students at every step of their educational journey, including first-time students, military members, transfers, and those working towards their graduate degree.

Every enrollee at National American University is connected to a personal success coach who provides them with the tools needed for success. Enrollment Counselors and Financial Counselors are also a part of the “graduation team” that ensures that students are ready for all aspects of completing their degree. Students build connections with professors and peers through interactions on discussion boards, email, and more.

Education

There are several unique business degrees available through the College of Business, Technology, and Health Management at NAU. At the associate’s level, students can earn a degree in Business Administration, Business Logistics, Health and Beauty Management, General Management, or Small Business Management. Business associate’s degrees are a great first step for business professionals, exploring foundational business topics, understanding technological tools, and practicing communication skills. These degrees help students get their foot in the door and start gaining important experience in the business world. These hours can also be applied toward one of the many bachelor’s options at NAU. Bachelor’s degrees include Aviation Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, Human Resource Management, or General Management.

Students can also pursue an MBA or Master’s in Management through the Buckingham Graduate School. There are two options for MBA participants: a Non-thesis track or a thesis option. The thesis option includes 31 hours of core-coursework, 4.5 credits of electives, and nine hours of thesis work. Accounting, Advanced Security Management, E-marketing, Healthcare Administration, and International Business are just a few of the specialty courses available. Working professionals may also find interest in graduate programs in Intelligence Management or Strategic Security and Protection Management.
