All students accepted to Minot State University receive in-state tuition. Many students also receive up to $12,000 through the Freshman Automatic Four Year Award. There are more than 100 areas of study with many interesting options within the College of Business. The MSU campus is located in Minot, North Dakota. While winter can get chilly, students experience all four seasons on the School’s beautiful grounds. The University is regionally accredited by the HLC and is also an active member of the University System of North Dakota.
Education
Three departments and a graduate program make up the College of Business. Students have many majors to choose from at Minot State, including but not limited to International Business, Marketing, Management Information Systems, Marketing, or Accounting. Graduate students can complete their degree in Information Systems, Management, Sports Management, or Education with Business Education. Certifications can also be earned for Cybersecurity Management, Knowledge Management, and Management Concepts.

MSU currently sits as the 3rd most affordable University in America. University-wide awards and grants are available in addition to scholarships designated specifically for business students through the College of Business.
Student Life
Freshman students can choose to participate in the First-Year Experience at MSU. This program gives participants additional support through peer mentoring, learning communities, and special programs that offer ways to engage on-campus. First-Year Learning Communities assign groups of 20 students to three classes together. Seeing familiar faces helps students adjust to life as a student and promotes easy study groups.
MSU Life coordinates numerous activities and events each semester. Movies, comedians, dances, and more are all free with a Minot State ID. There are also over $25,000 in prizes and giveaways for the taking! Students additionally receive discounts at local restaurants, stores, bowling, movie theatres, and local a putt-putt course. Clubs provide a fun way to hang out and make friends. Business majors may find a place with the Entrepreneurship Club, Beavers on Business, Finance Club, or Student Ambassadors.
Online Programs
There are a variety of degrees for online learners to choose from at Minot State University. Distance programs within the College of Business include Bachelor’s of Science in Management, Management Information Systems, Marketing, International Business, and Applied Business and Technology. Both the Management and Applied Business and Technology degrees are a part of the Air University Associate to Baccalaureate Cooperative, a program designed to give airmen opportunities to complete an advanced education beyond an associate’s degree.
Busy adults can earn their master’s digitally in the fields of Sport Management, Management, or Information Systems. These programs are flexible, 100% online, and reasonably priced. IACBE accreditation, along with the fact that all instructors hold doctoral degrees, gives potential students confidence in the quality of education offered.
