Student Life

There are countless ways for business students to get involved in on-campus and in the community. Business students clubs and organizations include Phi Beta Lambda, Delta Mu Delta, Marywood Aviators, the Accounting & Finance Club, and the Sigma Phi Omega National Society. As the university is rooted in Catholic beliefs, they highly value a heart to serve. Campus Ministry provides ways to explore faith and to serve the community. Students can get involved in Volunteers in Action, Good Samaritans (show care to people in need), Fair Trade Coffee and Chocolate Sales, Food Recovery Network (fight against hunger), Big Friends/Little Friends (mentor children), and collecting Easter baskets for kids. There are also many service trips and other community outreach activities.

Along with the heart to serve, the Catholic tradition values excellence. To provide an excellent educational experience, business students have access to the Wall Street West Financial Lab, which contains high-tech, real-time financial tools like the stock ticker, financial software, and more. Finance students can also participate in the student-run Pacer Investment Fund portfolio. Aviation Management students benefit from the flight certification preparation they find in the extremely accurate Flight Simulator. All business students are highly encouraged to participate in the Internship Program. The University has a large variety of corporate connections students have interned with, including companies like AT&T, Bloomingdales, Fidelity, Emery Air Freight, Lockheed Martin, New York Bank, Texaco Corp., Thomson Electronics, and Walt Disney World.
