The School of Business at Liberty University offers over 90 areas of customizable degrees choices with a Christian perspective integrated throughout every business program. Liberty places great importance on building leaders with ethical standards, moral character, integrity, innovative knowledge, a community service mindset, and a heart to positively impact the world around them. Many of the programs offered are ACBSP-accredited.
Education
The faculty members care about both the mental and spiritual well-being of each student. They bring years of knowledge and experience, coupled with their Christian faith, to the classroom. The ACBSP-accredited Bachelors degrees are in Accounting and Business Administration. The BBA concentrated areas of study include Automotive Dealership Management, Digital Marketing & Advertising, Entrepreneurship, Healthcare Management, International Business, Marketing Analytics, and Project Management. The 3+1 program is an excellent way to obtain an undergraduate and graduate degree together in just four years. Graduate students can pursue a Masters in Business Administration or a Masters in Sport Management. Through internships, students gain the necessary experience and enhance skills that will help them best prepare for the business marketplace. Internships are highly encouraged, and there are numerous opportunities to intern, including the Washington Fellowship and the New York City Fellowship.
Student Life
Student-led, professionally-minded organizations are essential to the overall educational experience for students. These groups include the Accounting Society, Enactus, International Business Association, Society for Human Resource Management, Student Association for Project Management, Delta Mu Delta, and T3 Club. Faculty members serve as academic advisors that assist students with everything from degree path and study abroad options to career advice and planning for graduation. There are many international travel opportunities for students. Group Travel short-term trips to places like Israel, Italy, and Spain. Study Abroad trips provide travel across the world to immerse in a culture and grow spiritually. International Internships provide global work experience. LU Send gives students a way to serve and help out in disaster-stricken areas. There are a few centers that the university offers in support of business students. They and give them opportunities to learn and serve, including the Center for Cyber Excellence, the Center for Entrepreneurship, and the Center for Financial Literacy.
Online Programs
Undergraduate students can pursue an online Associates in Accounting, Business, or Information Systems. The online Bachelor’s degrees are in Accounting, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, and Sport Management. The online concentrations for the BBA are all the same as on-campus, plus Green & Sustainable Management, Leadership, Public Administration, and Strategic Marketing Management. Graduate students have a plethora of degree options, including a Masters in Accounting, Cyber Security, Executive Leadership, Project Management, Finance, Sport Management, and Business Administration. The MBA areas of concentration are Criminal Justice Administration, Finance, Human Resources, International Business, Leadership, Public Relations, Strategic Management, and Supply Chain Management & Logistics. Doctoral students can achieve and Doctorate in Strategic Leadership or Business Administration in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Management, Human Resources, International Business, Leadership, Marketing, Non-Profit Leadership & Management, and Project Management.
