King University’s School of Business, Economics, and Technology is an interdisciplinary institution founded in the liberal arts. It focuses on preparing students to be responsible, resourceful, ethical, spiritual, adaptable, confident, and compassionate leaders. The school is passionate about serving God. It integrates a strong Christian faith with a robust business curriculum in training students to make a productive and positive impact on the world.

Education

The traditional undergraduate student can obtain a Bachelors in Sport Management or a Bachelors in Business with a specialty in either Economics, Healthcare Administration, Accounting, Management, Finance, or Marketing. The Bachelors in Business Administration is a degree completion program that meets one evening a week. Graduate students pursuing a Masters in Business Administration can meet traditionally on-campus for the accelerated Daytime MBA. This MBA includes an internship and a required specialization in Management Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, Human Resource Management, or Marketing. MBA students who need more flexibility can choose the Evening MBA, which meets once a week.

King offers an incredible amount of financial aid options, including university scholarships, grants, and work-study programs. There are outside scholarships available, as well as scholarships to assist students on study abroad trips. These trips are to places like Brazil, Ecuador, Cameroon, Israel, Uganda, Thailand, South Korea, Vietnam, Greece, Russia, Wales, Fiji, Australia, and New Zealand.

Student Life

King provides many opportunities for students to holistically advance their physical, mental, intellectual, and spiritual lives. There are a few academic, athletic, and specific interest student clubs and competitive intramural sports teams. The First-Year Experience program offers first-year students a trip to Washington, D.C., to explore careers and majors. The Office of Student Engagement connects students with ways to reach out and serve the community at places like the Crisis Pregnancy Center, American Red Cross, Boys and Girls Club, Children’s Advocacy Center, and Habitat for Humanity. Students can get paid to be a member of SLACK (Student Life Activities Committee at King) and plan all sorts of different events for King students. For academic assistance, students are assigned a Student Success Specialist that is available to assist in every area of the academic process, including one-on-one sessions, registration, encouragement, study habits, and campus involvement. Students can also benefit from the tutoring services provided by ACE (Academic Center for Excellence). For further education and service opportunities, students can participate in one of the University’s institutes, which are the King Institute for Faith and Culture, the King Institute for Security and Intelligence Studies, and the King Institute for Regional Economic Studies.

Online Programs

Business students can earn a King’s education entirely online with the Bachelors in Business Administration degree completion program, the MBA, or the Bachelors in Information Technology. The Bachelors in I.T. is only offered online and has optional tracks in Digital Business & Game Development, Cloud Computing & Systems, Cybersecurity Management, and Information Systems.
