Education
For the students looking for an undergraduate degree, there is a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Management. This degree has concentrations in General Management, Marketing, Sport Management, and Accounting. There is also the Bachelors in Business and Management in Cross-Cultural Business Administration for those who need this kind of business foundational knowledge while serving as a missionary. Graduate students can obtain a Masters in Management or a Masters in Business Administration, both with concentrations in General Management, Marketing Management, Nonprofit Management, or a customizable option.
As pursuing higher education can be very costly, the University provides numerous financial aid opportunities, including the Presidential Scholarship, Dean’s Scholarship, Ministry Honors Program, AVID Scholarship, Hope Grant, Pacific Scholarship Transfer Student Awards, and the Royals Scholarship. Qualifying students can also take part in the Federal Work-Study Program, where they can work a job on-campus or off-campus to put towards tuition costs. Student Life
A student needs to experience personal and academic development while earning a degree. A great way to accomplish this is through participating in the many different student activities available such as Student Government, community service projects, competitions, concerts, surfing, beach events, Bible studies, movie nights, and student clubs. These clubs include Overcoming Anything, Dance Team, Royal Rowdies, Zumba, Work It, Mentorship Club, Psychology Club, and the International Society for Business as Mission (ISBM).
As the Christian faith is of great importance, Hope provides the Office of Campus Ministries. Business students can join in on Chapel, service & outreach opportunities, Formation Groups, and mentor relationships to enrich their faith. A Faculty Academic Advisor is assigned to every student to aid in their academic development while walking through the educational process with them from start to finish. There is also the Career Center that provides numerous resources to assist students in preparing to enter into a career. The Darling Library is a great resource for students to have a quiet place to research and study.
Online Programs
The College of Business and Management offers a completely online Bachelors in Business Administration. This online format is incredibly affordable and can be completed in just three years to save time and money.
