Student Life

The Office of Student Experience assigns a Student Experience Advisor to each business student. This advisor will answer any questions and help guide and advocate for students throughout the academic pathway. The Office also helps students and alumni with career preparation assistance. They offer career advice, help explore careers, resume and interview preparations, provide online job boards, and on-campus job fairs and recruitment events.

On-campus, business students have access to the BB&T Finance Lab, where they can simulate trading scenarios and develop real-time portfolios. There is access to professional software like Morningstar and Stock Track, and students conduct projects using E-Trade and Ameritrade and learn how to calculate risks and set financial goals. This provides incredible experiential learning opportunities.

Online Programs

Johnson has ‘redesigned’ many of their degrees to be offered online and cater to the hectic schedules that working adults manage. They have earned many top rankings and provide incredible support through faculty availability, virtual office hours, recorded lectures, and real-time conferencing. Students have a 100% online option with the Associates in Accounting, Associates in Business Administration, and Bachelors in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Marketing, and Management.
