Grace takes pride in offering an education that can take students across borders and seas to obtain essential international perspectives and experiences. Business students can partake in study abroad trips to Argentina, France, or Spain. They can also spend an extended amount of time as an exchange student in Hungary at the Karoli Gaspar University of the Reformed Church, or Handong Global University in Pohang, South Korea.
Student Life
Grace offers a variety of student organizations to help meet academic, social, service, spiritual, and recreational needs. These include the Student Activities Board, Council for Diversity & Inclusion, Sounding Board Newspaper, Student Senate, Intramural Sports, ROOTS Magazine, and Club Sports. Growth groups exist to help nurture a relationship with God through prayer, scripture reading, and small group discussion. Service activities through the SERVE Program include tutoring refugees, mentoring kids, and hanging out with the elderly.
Business students find many opportunities for professional development. The Career Institute program helps students understand which career path to take and what is needed to prepare adequately. The Entrepreneurship and Service Practicum gives students a way to “practice” their skills and learn through experience. They create, write, and implement a business plan, and walk through every step in forming and running a micro-business. Whatever profits are earned, are given to a nonprofit organization that the students volunteer with throughout the program. The Gordon Institute for Enterprise Development provides entrepreneurial support and resources to students, staff, faculty, alumni, and the local community. Through coaching, education, hands-on projects, student consulting, outreach projects, and internships, the Institute ignites entrepreneurial creativity, understanding, and opportunities.
