The College of Business at Clemson University is educating business students with the values, knowledge, and skills to equip them to drive and be successful in a dynamic global marketplace. The business school highly prioritizes immersive education that goes beyond dry theory into a relevant and modern perspective on business leadership. Research and outreach programs have been injected into every aspect of this award-winning facility. The College of Business strives to produce students of multiple grade levels who are globally competitive and interested in social and economic advancements.

Education

One new component to the business school that business students are sure to enjoy is the Signature Programs. The College of Business staff chose the business-critical concentrations to better define Clemson University’s progression in educational relevance on the national stage. The competencies include Economics, Entrepreneurship, Sales Innovation, Brand Marketing and Graphics, and Value Chain and Advanced Manufacture. Another noteworthy characteristic of Clemson’s business school is its business accreditation through AACSB International.

Student Life

In 1933 Clemson opened the School of Textile Science. Eighty years and several name changes later, the respected university in South Carolina dubbed its well-known business school the College of Business. In 2017 the university broke ground on its nearly-$90 million project that will plant a 176,000 square foot state of the art building on the campus in Clemson. Since its inception, the building project has continued to be on schedule and will offer all business students an incredible resource for gaining comprehensive leadership skills.

There are many exciting programs available at the College of Business, including the school’s Tiger Ties Mentorship Program. Tiger Ties has been in place for over ten years and continues to be a valuable networking resource for students and alumni. Over six hundred professionals and students currently take part in the mentoring opportunity.

Another high-quality program available to students at the College of Business is the Student Enrichment. This program exists to engage and cultivate students within the business school as they become productive and successful business professionals. The Student Enrichment office provides students with access to international programs, career guidance, and employment opportunities.

Online Programs

The online MBA at Clemson University was launched in the Fall of 2019. This part-time degree is fully accessed online and offers an identical curriculum to what traditional students enjoy on campus. The business school makes it easy to get started for online MBA students with three start times each year. Working professionals with at least two years of experience and an undergraduate degree in business are the optimal candidates for this program.
