The College of Business at Charleston University is dedicated to helping students become successful and responsible business leaders that reflect the University’s commitment to Christian values and academic excellence. Education
The College of Business offers eight different undergraduate degree programs, including BBA in Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Management, Supply Chain Management, and Marketing. The College also has three different graduate degree programs available in Master of Business Administration, Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership, and Master of Science in Human Resource Management with various emphases.
Student Life
The small campus of Charleston Southern University means a personal campus experience where students have more opportunities for fun and involvement. Jones Hall is the building in which the College of Business resides. Students attend their classes in Jones Hall, and it also houses the offices of the president and the vice president for academic affairs. Sigma Beta Delta is an international honor society that recognizes achievements in business. The College of Business at Charleston Southern invites qualified juniors and seniors to join, as well as second-year MBA students.
Online Programs
Charleston Southern University offers online degrees such as Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Analytics, and Master of Science in Project Management. Courses for the MBA program are offered year-round with different start dates each semester. Classes can be completed in hybrid form or completely online. CSU boasts it’s a faith-based community on campus and says of it’s MBA program specifically that they “feel confident that students will learn what is needed to work in the business field with integrity, morality, and competency.” The Master’s of Business Administration allows students a choice of six different areas of emphasis, including General Management, Healthcare Management, Finance, Leadership, Management Information Systems, and Supply Chain Management. The online MBA can be completed in only 17 months. Bachelor’s degrees are also offered through distance learning in the areas of Supply Chain Management, Organizational Management, and Project Management.
The online bachelor’s programs at Charleston Southern were recently named in the top 25 Best Online Bachelor’s list by U.S. News & World Report, making their online bachelor’s program one of the best in South Carolina.
