Stanislaus State College of Business Administration’s mission is “To deliver a professional business education that offers our students the knowledge and skills to succeed in their careers and in society.” They offer highly regarded programs that work to create an environment that educates a diverse and multi-cultural student population. The University includes a Student Success Center that assists students from all backgrounds in academic, social, and career advising. They also offer assistance in finding internship opportunities, networking events, scholarships, and student organizations. Business majors are encouraged to get connected with the SSC early in their academic career.

Education

College of Business students at California State University-Stanislaus who are working towards their undergraduate degree can earn a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration. This degree offers concentration options in Accounting, Computer Information Systems, Management, Finance, General Business, Marketing, and Operations Management. Courses for the BSBA program are offered both during the day and in the evening in order to accommodate the needs of learners in all stages of life. Graduate degrees are also flexible and can be completed as a traditional MBA, Executive MBA, or Online MBA. The traditional program is scheduled with evening classes. The online option is ideal for fully distance learners who are not able to commit to a traditional schedule. The Executive MBA meets on Saturdays only. This EMBA is a cohort-based program, on an accelerated curriculum, designed specifically for working professionals.

Student Life

Cal State Stanislaus, 228-acre campus, is located just a short drive from many main cities and attractions such as the San Francisco bay area, Monterey, Big Sur, the Sierra Nevada, and Sacramento. On-campus students have access to a variety of experiences through art, theatre, and music events. There are also a variety of student-led organizations and leadership programs. A few of the organizations that may be of interest to business students are MarketInc, Accounting Society, Beta Alpha Psi, and Human Resource Management Club. The Warrior Leadership Program is available to all students but could be especially beneficial to business students. The program encourages collaborations across majors and helps participants to develop key leadership skills in the areas of career development, citizenship, school pride, wellness, diversity and inclusion, and personal development.

Online Programs

The online MBA at Stanislaus State offers areas of focus in general studies or finance. All faculty who instruct this top-notch program is certified by the Online Learning Consortium, a leadership organization dedicated to seamlessly integrating online education into higher education. The Stanislaus State Online MBA was also the first AACSB approved online program within the University of California and California State University systems. This level of accreditation reflects the University’s commitment to educational excellence for programs on and off-campus.
