Education

Undergraduate students enrolled in the Albert Reid School of Business can major in either General Business or Accounting. Minors can be completed in Finance/Economics, Sport Management, Business, and Accounting. Within the General Business track, there is an opportunity to choose an area of emphasis in Management, Finance and Economics, or Human Resource Management. Upperclassmen can earn their Master’s of Business Administration in around two years in a convenient online format.

Student Life

Brescia University gives students an opportunity to participate in their First-Year Experience program as an incoming Freshman. All students are enrolled in an Introduction to Brescia University course, which connects them with an advisor, fellow peers, and helps them learn about university culture. Participants also receive subject-specific study resources that also cover student employment, study skills, and more. After their first year, there are several opportunities for students to try out leadership roles by becoming a leader for student orientation, peer education, applying to be a Resident Advisor, or serving on the Student Activities Program Board. Clubs and organizations offer a way to meet friends with similar interests. Several of the student organizations include Alpha Chi, Environmental Club, Habitat For Humanity, Black Student Union, or Music Club.

Brescia Bearcats participate in and watch many on-campus athletic teams. Teams cover a variety of sports for both men and women like Cross Country, Track & Field, Volleyball, Football, Cheer, and Soccer. The on-campus ministry service also brings students together as they meet to grow and deepen their faith while building relationships with peers.

Online Programs

Online business students at Brescia University have a variety of options for every level of learning. The Associates of Science in Business Administration guides students in modern business practices and core business knowledge. This degree is fully online and easily transitions into on-campus or distance bachelor’s programs. A Bachelor’s of Science in Business or Accounting can be earned through the University’s distance platform as well. Both programs are designed with adult learners in mind and offer flexible completion times.

Graduate students can complete their Certificate of Accountancy or MBA. The online MBA is focused around helping working professionals efficiently improve their managerial skills, leadership experience, and business knowledge through participant-centered learning projects and assignments.
