Student Life

Student life outside of the classroom is just as crucial to the overall educational experience. Business students can be a part of The Alchemist, the student-run newspaper, Delta Mu Delta Honor Society, Rotaract Club, the Student Government Association, or many more groups offered by the University. A unique opportunity for students is to be a part of the local radio station, 89.1 WBCX Gainesville – the Voice of Brenau, which is run by the University. An education best prepares students for a successful career.

The Career Services department assists students with career planning, choosing a major, resume critiques, cover letter critiques, interview prep, mock interviews, job search process, planning for graduate school, and guidance with salary negotiation. It provides on-line job boards, job fairs, a career library, and helps find internships. The Professional Development Week is an excellent resource that offers events, the Career and Internship Fair, meetings with local employers, and free professional advice about resumes, interviewing, professional dress, networking, business ethics, and more.
