Bentley University’s McCallum Graduate School of Business has been educating future business leaders since 1917, where it began as the Bentley School of Accounting and Finance. Graduate students are taught how to focus on a global perspective, social responsibility, innovation, and ambition, all with an ethical mindset in making decisions. The faculty members have acquired expertise in their fields of study, are passionate about teaching, and dedicated to their research efforts. This all helps students be “prepared to lead and succeed” in their desired career path.

Education

Graduate students can obtain a Masters in Business Administration, full-time or part-time in the evenings. The optional concentrations for the MBA degree are Business Analytics, Finance, Accountancy, Law & Taxation, Economics of Financial Markets, Marketing, Leadership, and Information Systems & Technology. There are also Masters in Business Analytics, Finance, Accountancy, Human Factors in Information Design, Taxation, Accounting Analytics, Marketing Analytics, and Digital Innovation degrees. MBA students can benefit from the Dean’s Leadership Scholarships, and all qualifying graduate students can apply for merit-based scholarships. To help enhance their international perspective, graduate students can participate in opportunities to study abroad in places like Scotland, Japan, and South Africa. They have scholarships available for their international travel, including the International Citizens Group Study Abroad Scholarship and the Global Social Responsibility Fund.

Student Life

Getting involved in student organizations is highly beneficial to the overall educational experience. Graduate students can participate in the Graduate Student Association, ASCEND Bentley Chapter, Marketing Organization, Taxation & Financial Planning Association, Graduate Entrepreneurship Organization, Analytics Society, Finance Association, and Women’s Leadership Organization. Graduate Student Academic Services provides academic advisement and graduate school orientation. Career Services assists in helping students find Graduate Academic Internships and Directed Study opportunities. It also assists students in connecting with employers, accessing business cards, and interview preparation using interactive practice software.

Bentley is also a member of the European Foundation for Management Development which helps connect Bentley students with internships and jobs all over the world. Many Bentley graduates are hired by top employers. Numerous hands-on learning environments exist on campus, including the Trading Room and the Center for Marketing Technology. The User Experience Center exposes students to the process of a new product from research to analysis, and they also consult with real clients. ACELAB provides state-of-the-art training for Accounting students, and the Sandbox is a place where students can build modern technology.

Online Programs

The Graduate School of Business provides a couple of different ways to acquire a degree online. They offer several of the Masters degrees entirely online or in the hybrid live stream format where students participate during the scheduled time of class but can access it from anywhere. This helps students who need to travel for work or have other obligations. The degrees offered online include the MBA with the Leadership concentration, the Masters in Human Factors in Information Design, and the Masters in Taxation.
