Education

Undergraduate majors are available in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or Finance. The business school serves as a community in itself, but each program offers a very focused approach that allows students to really dive into their major. In addition to the required academic courses, all Rubel School of Business students are required to participate in either an internship or international learning experience to gain an active knowledge of real-world business skills. A few of the study abroad locations available include China, Australia, France, or Japan. Internships have been held with Texas Roadhouse, The Learning House, and Republic Bank & Trust.

Graduate students have three Master’s of Business Administration formats to choose from. Those who are new to the professional world are eligible for the weeknight or weekend format, while individuals with five to seven years of leadership experience may qualify for the Executive Weekend program. All MBA participants may choose a concentration in business analytics or emphasis in Innovation, Management, Marketing, or Finance.

Student Life

There are many events, organizations, and resources geared specifically towards business students at Bellarmine. Some of the events hosted by the Rubel School of Business include GMAT workshops, discussions with industry professionals, and an entrepreneurship expo. Students can improve both their vocational skillsets through the Career Development Center. This Center provides services like personality and career assessments, resume reviews, mock interviews, and personalized job search strategies.

Bellarmine University is also home to one of the largest in-person college mentoring programs in the United States. Every year over 400 students are matched with mentors from their field of study through the Bellarmine Alumni Mentoring Program. This is particularly helpful for business students as they begin to network and explore their career options. The Peer Wellness program is another great way for students to get involved. Eligible applicants can apply to become a student leader and assist with presentations, events, and on-campus presentations focused on wellness. Additionally, students who are not interested in the leadership role can participate in many leadership oriented activities through the program.
