Education
There are many different programs of study the College of Business has to offer. The college also prides itself on keeping classes small to allow for the personal attention each student needs to better succeed. Undergraduate students can obtain an Associates in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. The BBA has optional areas of concentration in Accounting, Human Resource Management, Management, and Marketing. There is also an accelerated Bachelor of Business Administration program available. All of the graduate business degrees offered are in the online format. Many students need financial assistance to earn their education. Baker offers numerous financial aid opportunities through grants, loans, and primarily through scholarships like the BakerProud Scholarship, Dianne Addington Leadership Scholarship, George W. Hoddy Scholarship, Graduate Studies Scholarship, Leadership Scholarship, Presidential Scholarship, and the Regents Scholarship. Advantageous educational resources also include buildings equipped with the latest technology, up-to-date laboratories, computer centers, free tutoring, and the Academic Resource Center.
Student Life
Baker believes that education happens in and out of the classroom, and they work hard to provide the best atmosphere for life to happen. With eight campuses throughout Michigan, there are a variety of ways for students to feel at home, get involved, make lasting relationships, and to enhance their overall educational experience while in school. Campuses offer student housing, bookstores, campus-wide wifi, cafés, community events, and student groups. The Student Center is a great area to relax, work on group projects, or hang out with friends.
