The College of Business at Arkansas Tech University holds the distinguished AACSB International accreditation, placing them at the highest level of business education in the world. The Tech COB strives to give business students the experiences and tools needed to understand the latest technologies in business, develop unmatched interpersonal skills, and become tomorrow’s effective, ethical business leaders. The Office of Student Engagement at ATU holds several Career Connection Events, which are small group events aligned with student majors that allow junior and senior level students to connect with potential employers and gain valuable networking experience. Students within the College of Business that have completed 75 credit hours or more have an opportunity to apply for the Business Student Leadership Council. This organization encourages participation in service projects both on and off campus, as well as offers many leadership and networking opportunities specifically related to business. The COB also houses many exciting student organizations for business undergraduates and graduates to participate in and contribute to; organizations including the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society, the Enactus organization focused on economic opportunity, and the Student Management Investment Club. Students also have the advantage of applying to multiple scholarships for business and accounting majors, including the G. M. and Ruby Cook Business Scholarship and the Jasper Vernon Howard Scholarship.

Undergraduate students have multiple programs to pursue, including a BS in Business Education for Teacher Licensure; a BSBA in Business Data Analytics; a BSBA in Accounting; a BSBA Finance; a BSBA in Management with tracks in Business Management, Entrepreneurship, or Human Resource Management; and a BSBA in Marketing with tracks in Digital Marketing or Marketing Strategy. At the graduate level, students may earn an MBA degree, taken online or on the Russellville campus. This graduate program is designed to enhance critical thinking and decision making skills. Students may follow a general MBA curriculum or choose a concentration in Business Data Analytics or Digital Marketing. All academic backgrounds are welcome to apply to the program. In addition to the highly-sought-after degrees at Arkansas Tech, business students can also complete a certification to be recognized as a Microsoft Office Specialist. Available through the exclusive Tech subscription to the Microsoft IT Academy, business students at the main campus can complete a series of Microsoft Office exams to show proficiency with the Microsoft Office software. This certificate is just one aspect of how the College of Business at Arkansas Tech sets its students apart as knowledgeable, effective, and capable leaders in the business world.

Online Programs

The COB offers an MBA online. Concentrations are available in Data Analytics and Digital Marketing, just like its on-campus program.
