The School of Business and Professional Studies at Brandman University develops “business and leadership skills needed to inspire innovation, solve complex challenges, and advance your career.” The school focuses on instilling communication, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and ethical decision-making skills. With the influence and guidance of top executives and experienced faculty and staff, business students gain vital insight into what it takes to run corporations, businesses, start-ups, and non-profit organizations.

Education

Designed for working adults, Brandman provides online and hybrid, a mix of online and on-campus coursework, degree programs for business students. The hybrid business and professional programs offered consist of Bachelors degrees in Organizational Leadership with optional tracks in Organizational Management or Supply Chain Systems; Computing Technology with focus areas in Business Systems Administration, Information Technology, or Project Management; and Business Administration. The BBA degree has majors in Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Finance, General Business, Human Resources, Information Systems Management, Marketing, Organizational Communication, Organizational Leadership, Supply Chain Systems, and Business Administration. The hybrid format for graduate students consists of a Masters in Organizational Leadership, Business Administration, or Human Resources. The MBA degree offers concentrations in Accounting, Business Intelligence & Data Analytics, e-Business Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Health Administration, Human Resources, International Business, Marketing, and Organizational Leadership. The school also offers an integrated degree program to accelerate the time it takes to earn a Bachelors and Masters in Business Administration.

Financial aid specialists help students acquire the money they need to pursue higher education, and Brandman offers several options for qualifying students. Business-specific scholarships include the NFIB Young Entrepreneur Foundation, The American Association of University Women’s Career Development Grant, The MBA Insight Scholarship, Brandman MyPath™ Master of Organizational Leadership Scholarship, and the Taco Bell Foundation Scholarship.

Student Life

With the mission to produce lifelong learners, the university provides many resources for students to succeed in life and their business aspirations. Enrollment Coaches assist with the process of applying to the school. Academic Advisors guide and mentor students through what degree to study and the exact path to take to get to graduation. With the number of online degrees offered, the Center for Instructional Innovation is vital to students in helping them navigate and use online programs and resources. There is an excellent Alumni Network where alumni can be involved in current students’ paths to success by offering mentoring, networking, and career events.

Online Programs

Every hybrid course offered is also offered entirely online in the traditional online format. But there is another online option for business students called the Brandman MyPath™ program. This competency-based format offers coursework 100% online where students pace themselves, have no terms, and courses are completed when the student has mastered the content. These degree programs include the Bachelors in Business Administration in General Business, Information Systems Management, Management & Organizational Leadership, Marketing, and Supply Chain Management & Logistics; Bachelors in Information Technology, and the Masters in Organizational Leadership.
